In this keynote address from the 1999 BYU-Relief Society Women's Conference, Ardeth Kapp testifies of God's constant and merciful love and of the Atonement's power to lift our burdens and heal our hearts. She reminds women of the power of their righteous examples and testifies of the importance of keeping sacred covenants.

Sister Kapp also warns of the need to overcome negative thoughts that disrupt spiritual communication, and referring to the scriptures as "letters from home," she advises that they be read as personal messages from a loved one. In her characteristic warm and comforting way, she encourages us to open our hearts and trust in the Lord, that we may be enfolded in mercy's arms.
