Jericho Road
There is more love than we can imagine …
There is more peace than we’ll ever know …
It’s more than we dream and more than we’ve seen or heard of before …
There is more.
Doing what they do best with popping acoustics, slick harmonies, and positive lyrics, There is More from Jericho Road, and there is more to living than just making it through. That is their message.
Though it’s not easy,
believe me there’s a reason why,
we’re here to discover all that’s in store.
That’s what we came here for.
Since they hit the music scene in 2001 with their self-titled debut, Jericho Road has toured extensively, released four additional albums (True North – 2002, What Matters Most – 2002, Deeper Still – 2003, There is More – 2005), and changed the lives of thousands of youth nationally and internationally.
“The best part of doing what we do is hearing from and meeting the fans, seeing the impact of our music in their faces and in their lives,” Bret says. “Hopefully, the message we share can inspire people to live better today than they did yesterday,” Abe adds.
From the rocking “Testify to Love” (track 1) to the delicate “Like a Child” (track 3) and on to the tight grooves from “This Day” (track 5), There is More is fresh, crisp, and confident. Abe, Bret, Dave, and Justin sing with honesty and optimism.
“Our goal with this latest album was to find songs that really speak to people in a variety of situations,” Justin says. “And we wanted to evolve a little with our sound too,” Abe offers. “We wanted people to recognize that it was us, but at the same time reach for a more mature sound. It's music we would all listen too and is similar to what’s on the radio, but without questionable lyrics.”
Whether performing in a Chilean concert hall or a chapel in Idaho, Jericho Road packs a harmony filled, soul-boosting experience and sings to show the world that There is More.
“There is more to life, and I hope we can live each day knowing it’s a gift from above and allow that love into our lives,” Dave says.
