Steven Stewart
Songwriter/singer Steven Stewart (TEOSTO) actively gigs as both a solo artist and the vocalist for the pop rock band "Frozen Ocean". This year he had two songs co-written with Mika Toivanen in the Finland country semi-finals for Eurovision 2005. (WHY sung by Geir Rönning and YOU'RE A STAR sung by Gary Revel jr.) WHY won the Finnish competition for 2005. For the finals, Steven also performed the male vocals for Samuli Laiho's song for Elena Mady "An Actress" (based on an interview with Marilyn Monroe) Steven has written for & performed with some well-known artists in Finland (Jari Sillanpää, Laura Voutilainen, Anna Erikkson, Aki Sirkesalo, Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks), Nylon Beat, and more). His songwriting covers diverse genres from pop, rock, country, CCM, hip-hop/R&B, and electronic. He's also written a musical based on the movie "Heaven Can Wait". In addition to Steven's own CDs, his character vocals can be heard in the animated film & CD "The Swan Princess (epic/sony). He is featured as a studio backup vocalist as well as a songwriter for many other artists' albums. Steven is now finishing up his new solo album with producer/songwriter Markus Wagner with an anticipated summer 2005 release date. Steven has worked for Nokia Telecommunications for over 8 years. He is also an accomplished cartoonist .
